PESHAWAR (ENN) A married woman was allegedly raped by an influential accused in the limits of circle Bakot police of Abbottabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
Influential accused Aijaz Abbasi raped married woman AB on gun point and made her video clips as well. Woman made complaint with police which asked her to keep silent until medical report is delivered.
Moreover medical report was found positive and then police conducted the medical test of accused.
Survivor AB told media that police was not supportive and was trying to have local settlement with the accused who is already married with more than three to four women.
She said police was reluctant to take action against notorious accused as he had contact with influential politicians and bureaucrats.
Police have registered case on the complaint of AB under section 376, 506 and 511 of Pakistan Penal Code.
She made appeal to Chief Justice of Pakistan and IG police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for action against accused to justice to be provided to her.
The husband of survivor works in Saudi Arabia; therefore woman is being threatned for local settlement.
