SIALKOT (ENNS) A six years old minor Christian girl (A M) raped in Sambrial city on Saturday. Reportedly, she went to a local shop for purchasing some sweats from where accused Khalil took her to a deserted plot and raped her.
Accused fled away when some people gathered there after listening victim’s hue and cry.
This rape incident created harassment and panic among the local people especially the local Christian community. Local Christians have strongly protested against this nasty incident, demanding stern legal action against the accused.
Meanwhile, Sambrial police have arrested the accused rapist Khalil and sent him behind the bar after registering a case against him.
Local senior police officials added that further investigations were underway.
Pakistan is celebrating the day for the protection of the rights of religious minorities on 11th and the nasty incident took place on the same day.
