KHAIRPUR MIRS (ENNS) Shah Abdul Latif University Teachers’ Association (SALUTA) carried out protest rally against illegal appointment of Registrar and victimization of teachers, particularly Ishrat Ali Mirani, Assistant Professor and Member Syndicate, who has actively been raising voice against corruption, nepotism, favoritism and fighting for the rights of teaching community.
The President SALUTA, Prof. Dr. Ameer Ali Chandio, while addressing the participants of protests rally said that our teaching community faces revenging and biased attitude of administration because we have been protesting against corruption.
He further condemned the victimization of teaching community and urged the administration to consume their time and energy to eradicate roots of corruption rather than to revenge upon the community.
The SALUTA general Secretary, Prof. Dr. Ghulam Ali Malah said that Vice Chancellor is victimizing the teaching community through illegally appointed Registrar. He also criticized the negative attitude of administration which compelled the teaching community to hold such protests.
The protesting teaching community was carrying placards and banners by chanting slogans against corruption and victimization of teachers.
