SIALKOT (ENNS) In Sialkot, the Rangpura police have registered a case against local religious seminary’s teacher for brutally torturing a minor student physically as a punishment for not learning his lesson in the Madersah (religious seminary).
Police have registered this case (No.276/2018) under sections 328-A and 342 PPC on the report of Amir Rasheed Bhutta (the uncle of the minor victim Zaman Hassan).
FIR revealed that Bharhath-Sialkot based minor child Zama Hassan (10 years old) was getting the Hifaz-e-Quran education at Madarassa Abu Hanifa, located at Sialkot city’s congested Govt. Murray College Road locality.

Victim Zaman’s family told the police that family received a phone call from the religious seminary that Zaman Hassan was not feeling well and pick him from there for his medication. When the family members reached there, they found minor Zaman Hassan brutally tortured physically and he fell unconscious due to this brutal torture by his teacher.
FIR added that the other students also told the police that accused teacher Qari Muhammad Nasir brutally tortured child Zaman Hassan physically after tying his hands and legs with ropes besides hanging him down with room’s ceiling fan. Accused teacher Qari Muhammad Nasir tortured the child Zaman as a “punishment” for not learning his lesson.
Other minor students of this religious seminary told the police that the victim was screaming loudly in the room during this brutally torture by the accused teacher with wooden sticks and plastic pipe meant for watering. Later, he fell unconscious.
The family took the victim to Govt. Allama Iqbal Memorial Teaching Hospital Sialkot due to his critical condition. The doctors confirmed this brutal torture on this “ill-fated” child.
Accused teacher Qari Muhammad Nasir managed to escape from the spot. Police are investigating with no arrest, in this regard.
