SIALKOT (ENN) Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said that the Punjab government has well-equipped all the DHQ hospitals in Punjab with the advanced medical equipment for providing the better medical and health services to the local level with the improved performance of the doctors and paramedical staff there.
Punjab CM today launched the revamping of the Narowal DHQ Hospital during a prestigious ceremony held there today.
CM stated this while addressing the participants after inaugurating the newly established P.K.L.I. Ward and CT scan machine at Narowal DHQ Hospital after its revamping and providing the mobile health units for Sialkot and Narowal districts at Narowal here on Friday.
Local MPAs Khawaja Waseem Butt, Rana Manan Khan, Sardar Ramaish Singh Arora, Chairman Narowal District Council Ch. Ahmed Iqbal, Narowal Deputy Commissioner Ali Anaan Qamar and senior officials of the health department from Sialkot and Narowal districts were also present on this occasion.
CM added that the PML-N government has succeeded in honouring its all the public promises and commitments , saying that it was the great achievement with the Blessings of Allah Almighty that now the people are getting the round-the-clock improved diagnostics , laboratory tests and CT scan facilities free of cost at all the DHQ Hospitals across the Punjab.
CM said “our this major achievement has made the political opponents sleepless, which could not make even a single achievement besides making high claims and redundantly criticizing the government and creating hurdles in the way of completion of the public welfare-oriented projects as well”.
CM recounted Punjab government’s performance in education, health, agriculture, transport, energy generation and conservation departments and said “we said and promised and we have done it, leaving the political opponents busy in creating hurdles”.
Our strong spirit and aims helped us a lot to cross these obstacles created by the political opponents and we have completed the record socio-economic, human development and public welfare oriented mega projects by spending billions of rupees in the record time periods as well, revealed the CM.
He said that the world knows that the PML-N government has produced the thousands of the megawatts of the electricity by ending the inherited regime of darkness by the past governments.
PML-N government was continuing the journey of the lights successfully by removing the darkness of ignorance as well.
We have been establishing the strong Pakistan as envisaged by the Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the CM added.
CM said that Punjab government was spending Rs.788 million for providing the advanced medical and health facilities to the local people in Narowal district, saying that the PML-N government has successfully improved and upgraded the hospitals’ medical infrastructures and establishing the advanced information technology and human resource departments, besides, bringing betterment in the overall condition of the government hospitals across the Punjab.
CM said that while fulfilling it’s all the public promises the PML-N government has left no stone unturned for ensuring the easy and smooth provision of all the basic facilities at their door steps besides raising the living standard of the people in Punjab.
CM said that everyone could see the marvelous social, economic and human development in Punjab, saying that the PML-N government has delivered amicably which it had promised in Punjab as well.
“We did the practical things, instead of making high claims”, he added.
Shehbaz Sharif reached the home of the Punjab Rangers’ martyred Lance Naik Muhammad Shahid Minhas at village Phagwaari-Shakargarh.
CM also announced Rs. 2.5 million financial compensation for the grieved family and to bear all the life-long expenditures of the Shaheed Lance Naik Muhammad Shahid Minhas’ widow and children.
He was martyred during the unprovoked intensified mortar shelling on border villages near Shakargarh along the Sialkot Working Boundary here, a few days ago.
