SIALKOT (ENN) Ambassador of Vietnam in Pakistan Pham Hoang Kim has stressed the need of making all out sincere efforts to boost bilateral trade between Pakistan and Vietnam, saying that Vietnam was keen to further strengthen the mutual trade ties with Pakistan. He said that the Vietnam was also intending to increase the mutual trade volume in favour of Pakistan as well.
He stated this while addressing an important meeting of Sialkot exporters held at Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) here today. SCCI President Zahid Latif Malik presided over the meeting.
Vietnam Ambassador asked the Sialkot exporters to divert their business activities to Vietnam.
Mr. Pham Hoang Kim also asked the Sialkot exporters to tap the untapped international trade markets of Vietnam, saying that the Sialkot exporters have a great potential to explore and capture the Vietnam markets.
Ambassador added that the time was high to develop the strengthened bilateral trade between Pakistan and Vietnam.
He said that there were also bright opportunities to establish strong Business-to-Business contacts between Sialkot and Hanoi Chambers of Commerce and Industry, saying that the strong B2B contacts could help to boost the mutual trade ties as well.
Addressing the meeting, President Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) Zahid Latif Malik said that Pakistan and Vietnam also enjoy substantial improving economic and trade relations. The bilateral relations between Vietnam and Pakistan in recent years have been considerably improved.
SCCI President added that with strenuous efforts from both sides we could truly tap the untapped potential that lies in the markets of Vietnam and Pakistan.
SCCI President said that the mutual trade between Pakistan and Vietnam was around US $ 610 Million (M) with balance of trade in favour of Vietnam.
