DERA ISMAIL KHAN (ENN) Two persons including police wireless operator were killed by unknown armed-men here on Monday, police sources said.
Arshad, a wireless operator in police was attacked near old Sabzi Mandi area of Dera Ismail Khan (DIK) by unknown armed-men, who died on the spot; while a shop keeper Aijaz came under fire as well.
Arshad was returning home after his duty. However armed-men managed to escape. Dear bodies were shifted to hospital and security personnel cordoned off the area.
Police and other law enforcement agencies (LEAs) personnel with civilians have been targeted in DIK since long and security check post by LEAs have been established to combat the attacks.
