TMK: Wapda employees including SDO are protesting against police man. (ENN)
TANDO MUHAMMAD KHAN (ENN) Wapda’s sub divisional officer allegedly was beaten by Sindh Reserve Police (SRP) official here on Friday at his office.
According to reports Sikandar Sathyo, SRP official visited SDO office for correction in electricity bill but after exchange of hot words he allegedly attacked Abdul Sattar Laghari in his office.
Laghari told media that policeman attacked and beat him and his clothes were torn. The policeman was captured by Wapda staff and handed over to police but on the directions of ASP the alleged attacked apologized the official.
Later policeman was released but the staff of wapda office held protest demonstration infront the police station and demanded stern action against official involved in attack on their officer.
