Asma Bibi, the student of medical has allegedly been killed by the nephew of the president of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Kohat district on Sunday after she had rejected his marriage proposal.
Injured Asma was rushed to nearby hospital where she succumbed to her injuries but few minutes before death she told police about the attacker, Mujahid Afridi.
She in her last video statement, which is in Pashtu, is telling about the killer that Mujahid Afridi killed her, later she died in the hospital. Zaheer Ahmed, the cousin of girl has demanded government to arrest the culprit Mujahid Afridi and provide justice to innocent girl.
District Police Officer Kohat has confirmed the arrested of one nominated accused Siddiqullah Afridi; while Mujahid managed to escape abroad.
Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar has taken suo moto notice of the incident and ordered IG police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to submit report.
