SIALKOT (ENN) The doctors and paramedics provided medical health facilities to around 688802 outdoor and 147587 indoor patients at Government Allama Iqbal Memorial Teaching Hospital Sialkot (GAIMTH) during the year 2017, reveals the report.
Medical Superintendent Dr. Khalid Faiz Butt shared figures while talking to media at the hospital. Principal Medical Officer Dr. Javaid Warraich was also present on the occasion.
He told that as many as 97791 critical patients were also treated at the Trauma Center Sialkot besides conducting 8293 major and 22039 minor surgeries in the hospital during last year.
While in Shakargarh, the local senior gynecologist Dr. Amina Shahid successfully removed a big tumor weighing about 4.5 KGs from the belly of a married woman Asia Bibi during major surgery conducted at Shakargarh THQ Civil Hospital. According to the doctor, the patient is improving in her health.
