SIALKOT (ENN) Three persons including a woman have been assassinated in different incidents of violence in various parts of the Sialkot district. According to reports an anguished woman allegedly poisoned to death her husband with the help of her parents over a domestic dispute in far-off bordering village Beeni Sulehriyaan, Pasrur tehsil (along the Sialkot Working Boundary), here on Thursday.
Reportedly, Maqsud Ahmed, 40 had gone for patching up with his wife Abida Bibi (34) and her family at their home and allegedly they poisoned him in tea followed by a rift between them.
Police have registered a case on the report of Misbah Bibi, victim’s sister against the accused Abida Bibi, her mother Kaneez Fatima, brother Suhail and father Akbar. Police told that accused have been arrested and sent them behind the bars. Police shifted the dead body to Pasrur Tehsil Head Quarter Civil Hospital for autopsy and investigating the matter.
In other incident three accused brutally slaughtered their brother-in-law as a “punishment” for solemnizing love marriage with their sister, even after three years of this marriage, in Doburji area, in outskirts of Sialkot city.
Reportedly, Hangu (near Pak-Afghan Border) based Yaseen Khan had allegedly kidnapped Gulshan Bibi from there and started living in Doburji-Sialkot after their marriage. She gave birth to two children here.
Gulshan Bibi’s accused brothers Nasir, Sultan and Zaman reached here in search of the couple and started living in a rented house. Finally accused found them, reached at their house and cut the throat of their brother-in-law Yaseen Khan with sharp-edged weapon, killing him on the spot, besides, injuring their real sister Gulshan Bibi seriously with repeated attacks of knives, as punishment for their love marriage.
Accused fled away. The injured was shifted to Govt. Allama Iqbal Memorial Teaching Hospital Sialkot in critical condition, who told these details to the Sialkot Saddar police.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case against the house owner accused Ghazanfar who put his house on rent to those accused killer without reporting the local police. Police have sent the accused behind the bars.
Police have also registered a murder case against the above-mentioned accused for killing their brother-in-law with no arrest.
Some unknown armed accused shot dead a married woman Ishrat Bibi (38) in her house after storming village Kaaleywali-Sialkot. Police said she was alone at home, when some unknown accused stormed in her house, opened fire, killing her on the spot. She was mother of two minor children. The accused fled away.
Police have shifted the dead body to Govt. Allama Iqbal Memorial Teaching Hospital Sialkot for autopsy after registering a case with no arrest.
