LANDIKOTAL (ENN) Khyber Agency administration has launched a survey to issue domicile certificates to all students’ at all government-run schools in Khyber Agency.
Political Tehsildar Jamrud Asmatullah Wazir told ENN that he was directed by the Khyber Agency Political Agent Khalid Mehmood to conduct physical survey of state schools in Jamrud. He said a team, headed by tehsildar, was constituted and paid visits to various schools in Jamrud tehsil’s jurisdiction.
The official said the aim of the issuance of domicile certificate was to facilitate the students and save their precious time and with the help of local elders, a team of administration officials and National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) would launch the domicile issuance program in schools.
Wazir said hundreds of students especially girls don’t have domicile certificates, which is an important document for taking admissions at college and university level.
When contacted political agent of Khyber Agency, Khalid Mehmood said they would soon start the same program in the other areas of Khyber Agency.
