Lala Asad getting details from convicted journalist

Lala Asad Pathan, assistant secretary general Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) met with two journalist brothers of Kandhkot, Kashmore, who have been convicted in an old murder case and were sent to central prison Sukkur, Sindh, Pakistan on Wednesday.
According to local journalists Asad Nazeer and Mushtaq Noorani allegedly have been implicated and convicted in an old murder that had happened during tribal conflict among Chachar and Sabzoi tribes. Ahmed Chachar, policeman was murdered in 2003.
Both journalists belong to Noonari tribe that has nothing to do with the conflict but local influentials with the help of Police managed to conspire against journalists due to their reporting and continued follow up with police over their theft by notorious accused.
Local lords and police brought the widow of killed person and she was asked to give statement against both journalists in the court of additional session Judge and court convicted Asad Noonari, reporter of daily Khabrain 25 years imprisonment with one hundred thousand fine; while Mushtaq Noonari is awarded 10 years imprisonment with 50 thousand fine.
Both were sent to Central Prison Sukkur after the conviction.
Lala Asad has announced to challenge the verdict and he appreciated the offer of pro-bono services by vice president of Pakistan Bar Council Shabir Sharr and Athar Abbas Solangi, Advocate High Court.
Lala Asad made humble appeal to Chief Justice of Sindh High Court Justice Ahmed Ali Shaikh for suo moto in the case as innocent journalists may get justice.
