Senior journalist Shah Nawaz Tarakzai of Mashal Radio has been kidnapped by unknown persons from media cell, Shab Qadr area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa near Mohmand Agency, Federally Administered Tribal Area on Sunday.

Three persons, who came in a private vehicle spoke in Urdu and told journalists that they wanted to take Shah Nawaz to police station regarding some investigation in a case.
While local police denied such arrest or abduction and even after 9 hours the where about of journalist remained unknown. According to local journalists he had been receiving threats in past but in recent days he did not tell them about any potential threat.
The family of missing or abducted journalist is worried and searching for their loved one and has demanded early recovery of missing Shah Nawaz.
FATA Commission of Human Rights has condemned the abduction and urged concerned quarters for raising voice to get him released as soon as possible. Shah Nawaz Khan Tarakzai is elder brother of Gul Nawaz Khan Mohmand who is coordinator of FATA Commission of Human Rights for Mohmand Agency.
