NAUSHAHRO FEROZE (ENN) It was moment of pleasant surprise that a private company Honda Atlas in Collaboration with South City Motors and other civil society grouops launched planting the trees campaign on the eve of Pakistan’s Independence Day here on Wednesday.
Chairman District Council Sohail Akhtar Abbasi, Deputy Commissioner Arsalan Saleem, SP prison Ammad Ahmed Chandio, Chairman Municipal Committee Dr Kashif Memon, SSP Sadam Hussain Khaskheli and others attended flag hoisting ceremonies at different places of the city.
On this lovely day male, female, youth and children with charming slogans and Pak Flags attended Plantation campaign at old National High and hundreds of plant were planted near roadside.
Later an other ceremony was held at South city Motors where gifts were presented to citizens particularly women and children including notables of the area.
CEO SCM Mr Abdul Shakoor Abbasi, Mr Saheeh Rehman, Mr Adil Ali, Mr Raza Hussain of Atlas Honda in their speech said Independence is blessing and are proud to be among the countries who are naturally rich but due to climate change, Pakistan is getting warmer, so Plant a tree campaign is actually to secure our future generation and the future of Pakistan.
The campaign Plant a tree was attended by number of females in a remote district, Justice of Peace Lala M Hassan Pathan, DARE founder Sajid Ali Soomro, Ameer Ali Rajpar, Irshad Abbasi, Jaleel Memon, Abdul Basit, Taimor Ali and many others.
The representatives of Atlas Honda told media that around 100000 trees are being planted throughout Pakistan and campaign had been kick of from cetral district of Sindh Naushahro Feroze.
