KARACHI (ENNS) Sindh Excise Police Larkana have foiled a bid to smuggle high quality heroin worth of billions’s rupees to Karachi and arrested accused while impounded the truck, used in smuggling. According to details Sindh Excise Police Kashmor team led by Excise Inspector Shams uddin spotted a suspected truck bearing no C-1416 at Kashmor Check Post near Wardick Petrol pump and recovered 336 kilo gram high quality heroin that was hidden in sacks.
The said truck was going to Karachi from Buner, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Accused Sahil has been arrested and a cass lodged as well.
The caught heroin is said to be worth of billions’s rupees in international market.
This catch is said to be the biggest in the history of Sindh Excise Department. On this great success, Sindh Minister for Excise and Taxation & Narcotics Control and Parliamentary Affairs Mukesh Kumar Chawla, Secretary Excise and Taxation & Narcotics Control Abdul Rahim Shaikh, Director Generals Shabbir Ahmed Shaikh and Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui also congratulated the Excise Team Kashmor and expressed their hope that they would continue their efforts against drug peddlers with the same spirit as they had done.
