KARACHI (ENN) The Additional Secretary, Sports and Youth Affairs Department, Government of Sindh Dr. Shakir Qayoom inaugurated the first Youth Caravan Dialogue in Karachi on Tuesday at Karachi University’s department of Criminology.
In his inaugural speech he encouraged the youth to review recently launched Sindh Youth Policy 2018 and support the government in its implementation.
The dialogue was hosted by VSO in collaboration with UNDP, Legal Rights Forum, Sports & Youth Affairs Department Government of Sindh, Women Development Department and Department of Criminology Karachi University.

Participants were of the opinion that the YCD has provided a platform to all the participating youth to contribute their points of view on the issues that create divisions within our society including their solutions.
They applauded the efforts of the organizers in providing them with an opportunity to have detailed discussion on issues of mutual importance. Due to limited exposure and opportunities of social and political inclusion young people in Pakistan have not been partners in driving their agendas forward hand in hand with policy makers.
Chairperson, Sindh Commission on Status of Women, Nuzhat Shirin, LRF executive director Malik Tahir Iqbal, Yusra Qadir of UNDP, Professor Dr. Ghulam Muhammad Burfat, Chairman-Department of Criminology, Professor Naima Saeed, Department of Criminology, Professor Dr. Abdul Hadi and others spoke on the occasion.
