Young lawyer kidnapped, murdered in Pindi Bhattian for marrying of own will

HAFIZABAD (ENNS) A young lawyer was allegedly kidnapped and killed in Hafizabad’s Pindi Bhattian area for marrying of his own will.

The body of Advocate Saqlain Abbas, 25, was found from Chenab River at Jhang.

Abbas’s relatives said he had married of his own will five months ago and was residing in New City Wah Cantt.

His relatives further alleged that the 25-year-old’s wife’s uncle and other relatives kidnapped him on October 19 and he never returned.

A case has been registered at Wah Cantt Police Station.

The Pindi Bhattian Bar Association has announced three-day mourning following the incident and demanded that Abbasi’s killers be immediately arrested.
