ISLAMABAD (By Lala Hassan) According to unofficial results received through Results Transmission System (RTS), Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have bagged four National Assembly seats each so far after 80% received results.
Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q) is leading the race in two while Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) in one NA constituencies.
Former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Khuwaja Saad Rafiq, Ali Nawaz Awan, Alamgir Khan, Zahid Akram Durrani, Malik Sohail Khan, Sheikh Rashid Shafiq, Mansoor Hayat Khan, Moonis Ellahi, Ali Gohar Khan are leading ahead of their opponents.
While PML-N is leading five, PTI winning four and independent candidates are ahead on two Punjab Assembly seats.
However as expected in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, PTI is leading six while ANP is ahead on three provincial seats.
PPP is leading in Sindh while BNP and an independent candidate is leading one seat each in Balochistan.
According to the Elections Commission of Pakistan, 5,881 overseas Pakistanis cast votes in by-polls with an impressive 76% turnout.
